Biography

For the past 6 years I have been working freelance. My main roles during this time have been to work on the Liverpool One development during the set up period, and for a year after opening on the management side. For the last 18 months I have been working for Broadgate Estates on the King's Cross development.

My main clients have been Broadgate Estates Ltd and Grosvenor Estates. Other Clients include CBRE, Ashcroft Estates, AMM Ltd and Jones Lang LaSalle.

Prior to having my own company I worked for a number of organisations including, CBRE, Ashcroft Estates, Speciality Shops Plc and Phoenix Beard. This has either been in the asset management or property management of shopping centre or mixed-use schemes.

Since graduating from Reading University in 1991 and becoming a Member of the RICS in 1994, I have been principally involved in the property and asset management of shopping centres. In the last few years this has expanded to advising on mixed-use developments. Developments I have been involved with during my career include:

Much of my writing work has come through property clients. There are usually many written documents that need to be prepared and delivered. In recent years I have also expanded to work in areas outside property as a freelance writer.
